The HealthTech Award honours companies whose healthtech solutions demonstrably improve health, care, prevention or quality of life. The award spotlights innovations that create real-world value for individuals, healthcare professionals and society and is presented in collaboration between Vitalis, GREAT and Sahlgrenska Science Park.

Why the HealthTech Award matters
Breakthrough innovation deserves visibility. Recognition through the HealthTech Award brings selected companies into a context where health innovation, decision-makers and growth opportunities meet.
Who can apply?
Companies based in the Nordics or Baltics offering a healthtech product or solution with documented positive effects in healthcare, prevention, prediction, health or wellbeing and quality of life.

Evaluation criteria - what the jury is looking for
Submissions are assessed based on overall contribution to better health and more effective care systems. Key dimensions include:
Innovation and practical value - Demonstrated benefit for patients, citizens, care professionals or healthcare organisations.
User or patient involvement - Active participation of end users or patients in development and validation.
Growth potential - Readiness and capacity to scale beyond local markets.
Predictive capability (optional) - Use of data or technology that enables earlier intervention or prevention.
Sustainability perspective - Alignment with long-term societal and environmental goals, including Agenda 2030.
Care outcomes and societal value - Evidence of improved outcomes, accessibility, efficiency or broader positive effects for society.

A 9 m² exhibition booth at Vitalis 2026, the leading Nordic meeting place for eHealth and healthtech.
One-year membership in the GREAT Network, including strategic advisory dialogue
Keynote presentation slot at A GREAT DAY, an annual event with more than 300 participants.
A pitch session at A GREAT PITCH, connecting companies with investors and innovation stakeholders
Ten selected finalists are invited to present a three-minute pitch at A GREAT Pitch at Vitalis, gaining direct exposure to investors and key actors in the Nordic health innovation ecosystem.The winner is traditionally presented at the Vitalis Innovation Area.

Applications and nominations are open to companies driving meaningful progress in health and care through technology.
