We joined forces with Swecare, mediq Innovation Experts, and Vinnova to support Swedish health innovation companies exploring opportunities in Germany through our market access delegations. Today, the initiative is already yielding tangible results, demonstrating the value of strategic international collaboration and targeted market access efforts.
Through meetings with hospitals, universities, healthcare organizations, investors, and innovation stakeholders, participating startups gained valuable insights into the German healthcare ecosystem while building relationships that are now developing into concrete collaborations.
Several companies have already reported significant progress following the visit.
Bioelectrix has gained promising investor traction through connections established during the program, creating new opportunities for growth and future expansion.
Polarity Digital Health has initiated a research collaboration with University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG), opening the door to further validation and international research engagement.
Beat Vascular Health has moved forward with a research project together with a German hospital, strengthening its presence in the German healthcare landscape and creating an important pathway toward future implementation
These early outcomes highlight how international market access initiatives can accelerate business development, create new collaboration opportunities, and support startups as they enter new markets.

Building on previous success stories in Germany
One example is Mabel AI, which previously launched a pilot at Sophienklinik Hannover, becoming one of the first Swedish digital health solutions from the Sahlgrenska Science Park ecosystem to gain adoption in a German clinical setting.
To address increasing language diversity among patients and healthcare professionals, Sophienklinik introduced Mabel AI's medical translation platform as part of its digitalization efforts. The solution enables healthcare staff to communicate effectively across multiple languages while maintaining high standards of privacy and data protection.
The Germany initiative shows that when innovative companies are connected with the right partners, meaningful opportunities follow. From research collaborations and investor engagement to pilot projects and new strategic relationships, the momentum generated through these activities is already creating lasting value for participating startups.
A warm thank you to our partners at Swecare, mediq Innovation Experts, and Vinnova for their collaboration, expertise, and commitment in making this initiative a success.
