Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and serious disabilities globally. After nearly ten years of research and development, starting at Chalmers, Medfield Diagnostics Strokefinder is approved to be used clinically on the European market. It detects stroke at an early stage, enabling early diagnostics and improved outcome for the patient.

The first episode of the interview podcast Klara, Färdiga, Entreprenör is released, where West Swedish entrepreneurs talk about their innovations, startup journeys and lessons they have gathered. Behind the podcast is the incubator network West Swedish Incubators, of which Sahlgrenska Science Park is a part. The goal is to raise the innovation power in Western Sweden and get more people to dare to invest in their business ideas.

Sahlgrenska Science Park is delighted to open the Arvid Carlsson Award 2022 for nominations. This is the 6th consecutive year an entrepreneur within life science will be recognized at the 17th Park Annual event on 30 November.
