Sahlgrenska Science Park is tasked by Business Region Göteborg, Västra Götalandsregionen, the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology with strengthening the already robust innovation system in the life science field in the West of Sweden. Put briefly: we help new companies in our region to get the best possible start for their business activities.

We help new companies to emerge and we create the right conditions for established companies to develop and grow more rapidly.

To succeed in our assignment, we give support and inspiration to promising business ideas so that they can be developed into successful companies.

Our vision is to help the already successful medical sector of industry in the region to develop into an international and attractive centre in the field of life science.
